We are currently seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join the team at our Arncliffe Head Office and contribute to our continued success.

In this full-time role, reporting into the Operations Manager – B2B, you will play a crucial role in coordinating various warehouse & mailroom activities. This will include receiving and distributing Head Office supplies and packages, as well as the dispatch of store consumables and fixtures.

 

What you’ll do

  • Collecting or delivering packages to & from depots, suppliers or customers as required.
  • Unpacking, checking and receipt of deliveries
  • Processes out-bound mail and packages & assisting internal staff with mail services as required.
  • Distribution of stock, consumables and supplies equipment etc. to stores
  • Coordination of courier collections and completion of manifests
  • Occasional heavy lifting of boxes, up to 20kg
  • Maintaining inventory records
  • Securing the dock by performing opening or closing duties as scheduled
  • Assist the Schoolwear Marketing Team with photo shoot coordination through tasks such as receiving, logging & preparing inbound clothing samples as well as returning samples to storeroom or warehouse
  • Processing of customer returns

What will make you successful

  • Previous warehouse or mailroom experience is highly desirable
  • A current and valid driver’s license
  • Well organised, with proven attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously using own initiative.
  • Basic skills in MS Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the internal team and external stakeholders
