We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor who will oversee the receipting, storage, and dispatch of stock in our warehouse. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills to manage a small team effectively, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. This role involves not only managing the logistics of our warehouse operations but also planning and assigning daily work to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.

 

What you’ll do

  • Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receipting, storing, and dispatching of stock
  • Plan and assign daily work tasks to warehouse staff, ensuring productivity targets are met
  • Ensure accurate recording of all incoming and outgoing stock
  • Oversee inventory management processes
  • Collaborate with other internal departments to prioritise and fulfill customer orders in a timely manner
  • Train and develop warehouse personnel, providing guidance on best practices and safety protocols
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Liaise with internal Customer Service Team & Operations Departments to ensure that all queries are addressed
  • Monitor and report on warehouse performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary

What will make you successful

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or stock management role or similar position
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office applications
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and best practices
  • A current full “c” class drivers’ licence
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work in a customer focused manner
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends or extended hours if needed during peak periods
